Responsibilities include:
- Build on and maintain relationships with existing contacts and accounts.
- Emphasis on expanding sales and further developing existing territory (Minneapolis metropolitan area, Minnesota, Eastern Iowa, North and South Dakota).
- Coordinate supporting of accounts utilizing various company resources and departments.
- Prospect and assist in generating new leads to develop new business – a minimum of 25% of the time.
- Work with customer service representative(s) as a team in handling accounts and prospects
- Work with VP of Sales to support efforts in overall sales growth.
- Provide information to warehouse manager and purchasing that will help them make any necessary adjustments to inventory
- Provide assistance in developing new products and ideas
- Overnight travel – Approximately 25%
- Perform other duties as described
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and Sales experience required.
- Prior sales experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be able to lift 15lbs at a time.
